I know how overwhelming it can feel to find the right therapist. It’s important to come by someone you can trust, who knows their craft, has a warm, hopeful approach and gets results. My clients tell me I’ve helped them navigate some of the most difficult terrain of their lives – which is a huge honor.
I have been fascinated by relationships since I was a child growing up in the Pacific Northwest, where I earned my B.A. from the University of Washington after having lived abroad in Spain and Costa Rica. My graduate studies began at Seattle University where I focused on existential and phenomenological psychology before moving to Maine in 2012, completing my M.A. at the University of Southern Maine, and becoming a licensed clinical professional counselor.

My Approach
My style is warm, kind, and direct and my practice is rooted in a person-centered, humanistic approach. I enjoy drawing from different therapeutic modalities, including gestalt therapy, internal family systems, and mind-body approaches. When working with couples, I lean on the Gottman Method, an evidence-based approach that helps clients disarm unhealthy communication patterns, create a heightened sense of empathy and understanding, and increase intimacy.
